Devotion SEO Brand Exploration

Devotion, born in the mountains, was created to change the way we traditionally approach SEO. Jared, a fellow Third Eye collaborator, and SEO Wiz, was looking for a way out of the corporate world.

Inspired by OBEY and the movement stemmed from the work of Shepard Fairey, Jared unintentionally set the tone by creating a brand that was created from rebellion. All he needed was an identity to match.

STEP ONE: THE SAGE

First, we needed to define who the brand was. Devotion wasn’t built for the masses but for the few visionaries who believe there is always room to innovate. We needed to find a way to showcase that within the brand identity and through the brand voice.

We dove deep into the OBEY brand as well as artists like Barbara Kruger and Russian Constructivists. Not only looking at the pieces they created but understanding the purpose behind the creative decisions they choose.

STEP THREE: THE BRAND IDENTITY

Devotion’s brand goes far beyond the logo. The brand is made up of a variety of intentional and purposeful creative decisions that all encompass the same core values. From the logo to the brand elements, taglines, and brand pattern the Devotion brand stays cohesive and consistent with its vision.
