What That Vise Do needed a brand that was different from everything else in the fly-fishing industry. They wanted to stand out by playing to the humorous side of the fly-fishing culture yet still needed to be taken seriously.
BEHIND THE LOGO
The brand aimed to show the technical side of fly-tying while also being playful and relatable. With research and strategic planning, the logo concept worked in multiple aspects of the sport without being overly obvious.
By creating a logo mark that encompassed multiple sides of the sport and using a vibrant yet earthy color palette What That Vise Do now has a brand that plays to their values and mission.
